There is plenty to do, including game viewing, walking, visit a Maasai village or visit the Amboseli Research, the longest study of wild elephants in the world.
Located in the southern reaches of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park is renowned for its excellent variety of wildlife such as Maasai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the majestic snowcap of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. The birding is excellent, especially closer to the lakes and swamps. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and soak up spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Ol Tukai Lodge is one of the best spots in the world to watch elephants with the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Writers have described Ol Tukai and the surrounding Amboseli National Park as 'a home for the gods’. A place of rugged beauty, abundant water, lush green grass and forest, set like an oasis in the surrounding savannah shrubland. To crown it all, this is where you get one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights – dawn breaks and the sunsets over the 19,000-foot snow-capped dome of Africa’s highest mountain!
Spend the day within this beautiful park viewing wildlife, birds and enjoying the natural ecosystem that exists within this park as you photograph the scenic landscape which characterizes this park. During the rainy season the vast plains turn a vibrant green colour drawing in hundreds of birds and little mammals. There are five different habitats in Amboseli: open plains, Acacia woodlands, thorn scrub, swamp and marshlands. This allows for excellent game viewing all year round.

Today the highlight of the safari begins as you check out of your lodge and head to the famous Serengeti National Park where you will be hosted at a camp located in the Central Serengeti. On the way, you will have a chance to visit one of the world's most important prehistoric sites, Olduvai Gorge, for a tour and lecture. Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. Its name means 'endless plain' in the Masai language. It is from here that massive concentrations of wildebeest, zebras and other animals commence the annual Great Migration in search of pastures new, providing one of the greatest natural spectacles to be found anywhere in the world. You can watch golden-maned lions stalking the migrating herds, spot leopards at rest in trees at dusk and take a hot-air balloon tour at dawn as the sun’s golden rays illuminate the land.
LocatedThe Seronera region, in the central Serengeti, is set directly on the Great Migration route and offers excellent viewing of this incredible annual phenomenon, when countless wildebeest flood the area and move across the plains. While migratory game populations fluctuate seasonally, Seronera is still a wildlife hotspot at other times of the year, sheltering the Big Five, among many other species. A number of small campsites provide accommodation and visitors can enjoy hot air balloon trips and walking safaris as well as guided game drives.
Witness the migration in complete luxury. Siringit Serengeti Camp offers a bespoke safari experience in the heart of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The camp is located just 6km east of Seronera Airstrip and one hour’s drive from the Nabi Hill entrance to the Serengeti National Park.

The dining area, lounge tent and veranda offer panoramic views of the Serengeti. Guests can enjoy the endless African sky in a tranquil setting, with a fine whisky or cocktail in hand, or take a game drive in the camps owned game safari vehicle and try and spot a lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant or black rhino.
The museum’s exhibits tell the story of the paleoanthropological artefacts that have been discovered here and the research they have generated. There is a room dedicated to the Leakey family and all they have achieved here and another to the famous Laetoli fossilized footprints which included a cast of part of the trail. Museum staff also conduct orientation presentations.
After breakfast and check out, make your way slowly to the northern part of Serengeti, game driving as you go. On arrival at the Camp, you will be escorted to Reception, given a short safari briefing, before being shown your tent.
